Hi, I'm Steve, a food photographer based in the beautiful state of Vermont.

My love of working with food started in high school when I cooked dishes for extra credit in Italian class. Over the years, the more time I spent experimenting in my kitchen, growing vegetables in my garden, and writing recipes for my local newspaper (and blog), the more I became obsessed with documenting and photographing my food adventures. Eventually, I picked up a quality camera and set out to learn about the world of food photography.

Over the past ten years, as I worked with food businesses and organizations in various marketing roles, again and again, I found a common challenge. Almost everyone lacked a collection of appealing food photos. Although we all have cameras built into our phones, making food look attractive behind the camera isn't as easy as snapping a selfie. Yet, the old saying "you eat with our eyes" has never been more relevant than in today's digital world. It can make the difference in whether someone visits your business or buys your product.

That's why I decided to merge my hobbies and professional experiences to launch Steve Peters Media and help the world discover, and more importantly, taste, what you have to offer.
